Today we experimented with LEDs. We needed 5 LEDs with different colors also one color changing LED.
Putting the pins of the LED to each side of the battery, we found out, that it makes a difference whether the long or the short pin is connected to the positive pole of the battery.
We connected several LEDs to one battery. We got 5 working. But there was one orange LED, when this was connected all the other LEDs turned of.
To make a durable connections of one LED to one battery we used some duct tape. Now we turned the lights of and threw the glowing LEDs, what made lot of fun.
After that we found out, that the lights looked very interesting, especially the color changing one.
And look, what a difference the background makes.
We did nothing special to shoot these photos. It just looked awesome.
Heute haben wir ein bisschen mit LEDs rumgespielt. Wir hatten 5 verschieden farbige LEDs, ein Farbwechsel-LED sowie 5 Batterien.
Als erstes haben wir herausgefunden, dass es nicht egal ist, an welcher Seite der Batterie der lange Pin ist. Außerdem haben wir gesehen, dass man mehrere LEDs an eine Batterie anschließen kann, es aber auch Unterschiede gibt. War das orange LED angeschlossen, gingen alle anderen aus.
Wir haben die LEDs dann mit Ducttape an die Batterie geklebt. Dann haben wir den Raum verdunkelt und die leuchtenden LEDs geworfen, was ziemlich cool aussah.
Wenn die LEDs auf einem dunklen Hintergrund liegen, leuchten sie gleich viel weniger. Und das Farbwechsel-LED sah besonders spannend aus. Die Bilder wurden übrigens nicht bearbeitet oder irgendwelche Tricks benutzt. Das sah in echt genauso aus. Faszinierend, wie viel Spaß man mit ein paar einfachen LEDs machen kann.
Am Ende haben wir die leuchtenden LEDs noch auf eine Pappe geklebt und als Bild im Zimmer aufgehangen.
